This Privacy Policy explains how TimeKeeper collects, uses, and stores information when users install and use the product.
Information we process
- Account and contact information provided by the user.
- Product configuration and usage metadata.
- Captured work context from the user's device when the user enables those features.
- Google Calendar metadata when the user explicitly connects Google Calendar.
How Google Calendar data is used
When a user connects Google Calendar, TimeKeeper requests read-only access to calendar
event metadata using the Google scopes calendar.readonly, openid,
and email.
- Calendar access is used only to read event context.
- TimeKeeper does not create, edit, or delete calendar events.
- Calendar data is used to improve meeting detection and meeting summaries inside the product.
- Users can disconnect Google Calendar at any time.
How information is used
- To operate and improve the product.
- To provide summaries, time-entry drafts, and work-history features requested by the user.
- To diagnose service issues, maintain security, and provide support.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers or infrastructure operators as necessary to operate the product, comply with law, or protect rights and security.
Retention and deletion
We retain data only as long as needed for product operation, legal compliance, and support. Users may request deletion or disconnect linked services such as Google Calendar.
